CANADA Federal Skilled Trades - Seed Immigration Consulting

Federal Skilled Trades Program (FST) is for skilled workers who want to become permanent residents based on being qualified in a skilled trade.

Foreign nationals looking to immigrate to Canada under the Federal Skilled Trades Program must first make an expression of interest through the federal Express Entry selection system. The FST allows individuals with a valid job offer or a certificate of qualification to obtain permanent residence in any Canadian province or territory other than Quebec.

Minimum requirements

meet the required language levels for each language ability
have at least 2 years of full-time work experience (or an equal amount of part-time work experience) in a skilled trade within the 5 years before you apply
meet the job requirements for that skilled trade as set out in the National Occupational Classification, except for needing a certificate of qualification
have a
- valid job offer of full-time employment for a total period of at least 1 year or
- certificate of qualification in that skilled trade issued by a Canadian provincial, territorial or federal authority

Skilled work experience

Skilled trades for the Federal Skilled Trades Program are organized under these groups of the National Occupational Classification (NOC):

Major Group 72, industrial, electrical and construction trades
Major Group 73, maintenance and equipment operation trades
Major Group 82, supervisors and technical jobs in natural resources, agriculture and related production
Major Group 92, processing, manufacturing and utilities supervisors and central control operators
Minor Group 632, chefs and cooks
Minor Group 633, butchers and bakers

The major NOC groups are subdivided into different occupations, and they are all skill type B.

The applicants must show that they performed the duties set out in the lead statement of the occupational description in the NOC. This includes all the essential duties and most of the main duties listed.

Language ability

meet the minimum score of Canadian Language Benchmark 5 for speaking and listening, and Canadian Language Benchmark 4 for reading and writing
take approved language tests for: writing, reading, listening, speaking
enter the test results in your Express Entry profile

Education

There is no education requirement for the Federal Skilled Trades Program. But, if you want to improve your rank in the Express Entry pool, there are 2 ways you can do this.

If you went to school in Canada, you can get points for a certificate, diploma or degree from a Canadian: secondary institution (high school) or post-secondary institution

If you have foreign education, you can get points for a completed educational credential, if you have an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA)report for immigration purposes from a designated organization showing that your education is equal to a completed certificate, diploma or degree from a Canadian: secondary institution (high school) or post-secondary institution

In addition, your personal and account information and transaction history are kept behind our firewall on separate servers. All transaction information is processed under encrypted channels, although you may choose unencrypted processing.

Payment Terms
Payment is due by credit card. Once an order is placed by credit card, the credit card account will be verified at the time the order is placed. Prices
Prices shown on Seedvisa.ca’s website do not include shipping and handling. Neither do not the prices include taxes unless otherwise noted. All prices are in Canadian dollars. Order Cancellations & Changes
For the benefit of our customers, we attempt to process orders as rapidly as possible. As such, orders may be sent to our partner for fulfillment very soon after they are placed. Due to difficulty of locating orders once they have begun the fulfillment process, we will not be able to make any order changes or cancellations once they have reached this stage of processing.

Refund Policy

Please understand, while we want to be as flexible as possible, our events take planning, seats are limited, and our guests are compensated by products/services sold.

If you purchase products/services from our website:

To make changes to your reservation we require at least 48 hours notice. Reservation cancelled within 48 hours there will be no refunds or credits for un-used promotional tickets but tickets may be transferred into another event with available seating.
Changes to reservations within 48 hours of the start of an event incur a late reschedule/cancellation fee.
We will make some exceptions for National Weather Service-issued weather advisories or medical emergencies.
Events canceled within the 48 hour window will be subject to a per-ticket rescheduling fee.

Warranty

There is no warranty applied to all Seedvisa.ca products.

Limitation of Liability
The maximum liability to you for products purchased from Seedvisa.ca shall be limited to the purchase price you have paid for the products. Also, Seedvisa.ca will not be liable for any property damage, personal injury, loss of use, interruption of business, loss of profits, or other consequential, indirect, incidental, punitive or special damages. This applies to all situations however caused, whether for breach of warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise, other than those damages that are incapable of limitation, exclusion or restriction under applicable law.

THIS RETURN POLICY IS NOT A WARRANTY. Seedvisa.ca reserves the right to change or to cancel it at any time before accepting your order. For all refunds, you need to precisely follow the previous return procedures to ensure the return of your refund. You need to also allow a reasonable period of time for the product to arrive at our warehouse and pass an inspection process. When your return is accepted, we will process your credit as soon as possible.

Interpretation
These terms and conditions shall be interpreted under and governed by the laws of Canada, without giving effect to conflicts of law rules. Headings used in these Terms and Conditions are for convenience of reference only and are not intended to be part of, or to affect the meaning or interpretation of, these Terms and Conditions.

Arbitration
All dispute, controversy, or claim against Seedvisa.ca arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions, their interpretation, or the breach, termination or validity thereof, or any related purchase shall be resolved exclusively and finally by arbitration administered by the Better Business Bureau.(BBB)

The arbitration will be conducted before a single arbitrator, and will be limited solely to the dispute or controversy between you and Seedvisa.ca. The arbitration shall be held in any mutually agreed upon location in person, by telephone, or online. Any decision rendered in such arbitration proceedings will be final and binding on each of the parties, and judgment may be entered thereon in a court of competent jurisdiction.

The arbitrator shall not award either party special, exemplary, consequential, punitive, incidental or indirect damages, or attorney’s fees and each party irrevocably waives any such right to recover such damages. The parties will share the costs of the arbitration, (including the arbitrator’s fees, if any) in the proportion that the final award bears to the amount of the initial claim.

No Modification
Any additional or altered terms attached or adhering to an order shall be null and void and without effect, unless agreed to in writing by Seedvisa.ca. These terms and conditions may not be modified, altered or amended without the written agreement of Seedvisa.ca.

Severability
If any provision of these terms and conditions is held to be illegal, invalid or un-enforceable, in whole or in part, the legality, validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions shall not be affected or impaired. The terms and conditions stated herein are declared to be Severable.

General
You may not assign this agreement without Seedvisa.ca’s prior written consent. Seedvisa.ca is the intended beneficiaries of this agreement. If there is any inconsistency between this agreement and other agreement included with or relating to products purchased from Seedvisa.ca, this agreement shall take precedence.

Linking and Framing the Web Site
Links to the Web Site without the express permission of Seedvisa.ca are strictly prohibited. Seedvisa.ca reserves the right to cancel and revoke any permission it may give to link to the Web Site at any time, for any reason, without any notice, and without any liability to you or any other person. The framing of the Web Site or any of its content in any form and by any method is strictly prohibited.
